Jobs at Frontier
We have an exciting, varied crop of current projects and we want talented individuals like you to work with us.
GUI Artists
The graphical interface to games is key to their success. We are looking for artists with strong visual design skills, a good sense of motion and experience with Flash, who are used to dealing with both art and design requirements. We strive to maximise the creative input from our art team, and we currently have projects encompassing a range of genres.
Traditional art skills and extensive experience with Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator are essential.
Models here are generated in 3D Studio Max, and we have Max plug-ins to enable export of models which fully preserve the detail and quality of our work in-game. We believe it’s the artist’s talent that is the important thing rather than their knowledge of a particular package, so if you are new to Max don’t let that put you off applying.
Industry experience is important but not essential, as long as you have examples of high quality work that you have done. These do not need to relate to a game, but should show off your talent.
Please apply either by email (including a CV and showreel) to gui-artistjobs@frontier.co.uk or by surface mail to the address on the contact us page of this website.
Showreels submitted on DVD or CD-ROM are preferred.
If applying by email please include a link to your showreel or attach copies of your best work to the email.
Emails bigger than 20 Mbyte (including attachments) will be automatically rejected.
Preference will be given to candidates who apply directly to us and are EU citizens currently resident in the UK. Salaries offered will depend on skills & experience.
We are not looking for applicants who wish to work from home, or on a freelance basis.
